The brand-new design and excellent manufacture make this series of products durable and convenient for installation and maintenance.TS series circular vibrating screen is now widely used in construction, transportation, energy, cement, mining and other dry materials screening.
TS Series Vibrating Screen Working Principle
The electric motor through the triangle belt makes the exciter eccentric block produce high efficiency rotation. The running eccentric block produces great centrifugal force, which stimulates the screen box to produce a certain amplitude of circular motion, and the materials on the screen are subjected to the impulse transmitted by the screen box on the inclined screen surface to produce a continuous throwing motion, and the materials and the screen surface meet in the process of making the particles smaller than the screen holes to pass through the screen, so as to realize the grading.
TS series screens are typically inclined, multi-deck screens that use a vibrating mechanism (usually an eccentric shaft) to separate materials by size. They are known for high capacity and robust construction.
I. Regular Inspection and Preventative Maintenance
Daily/Shiftly Checks (Before Each Shift):
Visual Inspection:
Screen Decks: Check for tears, holes, loose or broken wires/panels, and blinding (material clogging the openings).
Frame: Look for cracks, dents, or signs of excessive wear or stress.
Springs/Mounts: Check for cracks, breaks, or sagging.
Belt Drive: Inspect belts for wear, cracking, or looseness. Check sheave alignment.
Lubrication Points: Ensure grease fittings are clean and accessible.
Material Buildup: Remove any accumulated material from the screen body, feed box, and discharge chutes.
Unusual Noises: Listen for any unusual sounds like grinding, squealing, or knocking.
Guards and Safety Devices: Ensure all guards are in place and functional. Emergency stop buttons must be accessible and working.
Operational Check: Run the screen briefly (if safe) and listen for any unusual noises or vibrations.
Weekly/Monthly Checks:
Vibrating Mechanism Inspection (Exciter):
Bearing Temperature: Check bearing housings for excessive heat with an infrared thermometer. High temperatures indicate potential bearing failure.
Lubrication: Grease bearings according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Important: Use the correct type of grease! Over-greasing can also be harmful.
Oil Level (Oil-Lubricated Exciters): Check the oil level in the exciter housing (if applicable). Add oil as needed. Note any signs of oil leaks.
Oil Analysis (Oil-Lubricated Exciters): Periodically (e.g., every 6 months) take an oil sample and have it analyzed to detect wear particles or contamination.
Fasteners: Tighten all bolts and fasteners on the vibrating mechanism to the specified torque. Pay special attention to bolts securing eccentric weights.
Clearance: Check for proper clearance between rotating and stationary parts.
Spring Inspection:
Examine all springs for cracks, breaks, or signs of fatigue. Pay attention to the spring seats.
Check for proper spring compression. Uneven compression indicates a problem.
Screen Body Inspection:
Check all welds for cracks.
Inspect the screen deck support structure for damage.
Check for any loose or missing bolts.
Belt Drive Inspection:
Check belt tension and adjust as needed. Use a belt tension gauge.
Inspect sheaves for wear.
Check motor alignment.
Fastener Tightening: Re-torque all fasteners on the screen body, vibrating mechanism, springs, and support structure.
Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the entire screen structure.
Annual/Overhaul Inspection:
Complete Disassembly and Inspection: This is a major undertaking and should be done by experienced personnel.
Disassemble the vibrating mechanism (exciter) and inspect all components for wear, damage, and fatigue.
Inspect the screen body for cracks, distortion, and corrosion.
Replace worn or damaged parts (bearings, springs, screen panels, etc.).
Check and repair welds as needed.
Bearing Replacement: Replace all bearings in the vibrating mechanism, regardless of their apparent condition. Bearings are a critical wear item.
Spring Replacement: Consider replacing all springs to ensure consistent performance.
Motor Check: Have the drive motor inspected and serviced by a qualified electrician.
Dynamic Balancing: After reassembling the vibrating mechanism, have it dynamically balanced to minimize vibration and extend bearing life.
Repainting: Repaint the screen body to prevent corrosion.
II. Lubrication
Bearing Lubrication:
Grease Type: Crucially important! Use the grease specified by the screen manufacturer or a high-quality, heavy-duty lithium-complex grease with EP (extreme pressure) additives suitable for vibrating applications.
Greasing Frequency: Follow the manufacturer's recommendations. Greasing frequency will depend on the screen size, operating speed, and environmental conditions.
Greasing Procedure: Clean the grease fittings before greasing. Pump grease slowly until fresh grease appears. Do not over-grease!
Oil Changes (Oil-Lubricated Exciters): Follow the manufacturer's recommended oil change interval. Use the specified type of oil.
Motor Lubrication: Lubricate the motor bearings according to the motor manufacturer's instructions.
III. Troubleshooting Common Problems
Reduced Screening Efficiency:
Causes: Blinding of screen decks, worn or damaged screen decks, incorrect vibration amplitude or frequency, improper feed rate, material segregation, worn springs.
Troubleshooting: Clean or replace screen decks, adjust vibration parameters, reduce feed rate, check material distribution, replace springs.
Excessive Vibration:
Troubleshooting: Tighten fasteners, replace bearings, balance the vibrating mechanism, replace springs, repair cracks.
Causes: Loose fasteners, worn bearings, unbalanced vibrating mechanism, damaged springs, cracks in the screen body.
Screen Body Cracks:
Causes: Overloading, excessive vibration, fatigue, corrosion.
Troubleshooting: Reduce load, address vibration issues, repair cracks, repaint to prevent corrosion.
Bearing Failure:
Troubleshooting: Use correct grease, reduce load, protect against contamination, address vibration issues, ensure proper alignment.
Causes: Improper lubrication, overloading, contamination, excessive vibration, misalignment.
Belt Drive Problems:
Causes: Worn belts, misaligned sheaves, incorrect belt tension.
Troubleshooting: Replace belts, align sheaves, adjust belt tension.
Screen Decks Breaking/Tearing:
Causes: Abrasive material, improper tensioning, worn support structure, excessive impact from feed material.
Troubleshooting: Use more durable screen media, properly tension the screen, repair the deck support, reduce feed rate, install a feed box.
Screen "Walking" or Moving:
Causes: Inadequate isolation, worn or broken springs/mounts, loose foundation bolts.
Troubleshooting: Check and replace springs or mounts, tighten foundation bolts. Consider vibration dampers.
